Metal Storm was a Dragonstorm scientist and later experiment at Pelvanida Research Base. He looked like a powerfully-built ordinary Human, but he stood nearly 9 feet tall and was composed not of flesh, but gleaming metal. Indeed, the only organic part of him was his brain. He was once a Dragonstorm scientist who was fatally injured when one of his fellow scientists, who had discovered that his son had been kidnapped and later killed for Dragonstorm, hacked him to death with a fire ax. He could swap his left arm for a number of models, including regular hand, minigun, and custom built belt fed M249.
In July 2009, he was sent to attempt and kill James' team, with Delta squad and Gamma squad as backup. They swept the Double Helix Cafe, and after that went their separate ways, still looking for them. (Survival of the Fittest)
