The small hadron collider was invented by Yuri Kerzach sometime before February 2009. In Bruce Tinner's virtual reality machine, Rudyard Shelton forced him to add them into the virtual Pelvanida in order to dispose of the bomb left by the spy. (Schrodinger's Prisoners)
