Vladimir Dietrik was a colonel who had ties to Dragonstorm and commanded the New York base. He is responsible for the creation of the corrupt Viper and was killed by an unknown but incredibly lethal experiment at the Washington D.C. base. Trinity and Keegan O'Neill used his severed hand to activate the self-destruct, destroying Dietrik's body and his killer. (Zero Hour, Disruptive Selection)
